New Orleans leads the Nation in the Real Estate appreciation forecast for 2007
Housingpredictor.com, a Web site that provides real-estate market forecasts for more than 250 cities across the U.S., has come out with a list of 25 markets that it says will experience the highest home-price appreciation in 2007. Top on its list is New Orleans, La., which the site says will appreciate 8.4% from a median price of $152,000.
The Top 25 projected markets for the highest real estate appreciation in 2007 are evidence that the U.S. has many local housing markets that are appreciating strongly.
Thirteen states are represented in the Top 25 markets, including Louisiana, which leads the list with New Orleans, as it battles back from the worst natural U.S. disaster in history. The Big Easy is forecast to appreciate the most at 8.4%.
